It almost fits, but not quite.

And it's not the bed, it's the roof.

The roof "spoiler" interferes with the frame of the topper, which forces the rear of the topper to hang off the back too far.

    Close but no ceeegarrr.....

    UPDATE

Softopper has made a 4th gen specific canopy.

It might be a while before they get this redesigned.

I was psyched to get it installed. I wasn't worried about the bed, because that hasn't really changed, but I didn't even think of the roof.

Kinda assumed that little bulge/spoiler on the cab would impact the softopper. Undoubtedly will be an issue for rigid toppers.

I’ll have to give it a year or two before I seriously consider moving to a 4th gen. A topper is a must have for me. Be nice to get some on the used market before I take the plunge.

Doesn’t matter it looks horrible on the 4th gen … the best top would look better since it has a box style topper .

It looks horrible on the 4th gen because it isn't designed for the 4th gen.

I'm sure Softopper will release an attractive version for the new trucks, but it won't happen quickly unless they received CAD data a while ago.

Bestop and Softopper both have no release date and they both told me "check back in the fall" when I called their support line to ask. The only topper that says they have support for the 4th gen is Fastop but I've yet to see one fit on the 2024 and I am hesitant to be that $1300 guinea pig.

I bet the bestop soft topper would fit, There is a huge gap on the top front of the best top that would fit that roof spoiler pretty well.

It could definitely be secured to the bed, so yes it could be used.

I called Bestop and their support person went and asked an engineer and the engineer said 'no'. So maybe Bestop might fit 'ok' or better than Softopper but it won't fit to their specifications to sell it.

I haven't seen one installed yet but according to Fastop they make one for the 24 Tacoma. I just don't want to buy it and it not fit...

I am wondering if it can be modified to work. Maye the frame tube closest to the cab could possibly be bent either up or down slightly to make it got better.
I have my old topper that is damaged (canvas) I may try to do it...maybe lol

I called Fastop and had the same conversation and they did say they had a 'template' for it to fit. But their timing for delivery is 6weeks to ship and more like 7-8 weeks for actual delivery. You can order from Radco and use their email discount code to get i think 10% off and it works for the Fastop. Just FYI. It will save considerable $$ between Radco free shipping + the discount. Its at least $200 cheaper.
