I've got a very nice 2015 Tacoma. It's got the 4 full doors and the long box. I'm considering selling it and getting a Tundra. My needs have changed and I need a larger vehicle. I see prices all over the map on the value of my Tacoma. I've heard it's a popular model being it's the last of the 4.0 engines along with the long box (6'). Does anyone have advice for me on determining the value and/or asking price for it? It does have about 160k in it for miles. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. There's no rust on the outside, I'll check over the underside. I also put some pics on soon...

Probably list it for a normal price and continue to gradually drop it until it sells.

Id guess around $18k if the frame is rust free. I could be low balling

In my area (utah) those can go for 25k-30k all day with that year and mileage on a DC 4WD V6.

I'd start high and drop as needed. 18k is crazy. There's preunner 4 banger access cabs going for that around here .

Look up similar listings in your area. If in a rush to sell give it a similar price point as the others. If not in a rush, list it well above others in the area and gradually decrease price through out the weeks as you gain more interest or stay firm. Up to you.

That would be an insane price in my area. Depending on condition, whether it's 4x4 or not, options, maintenance history...etc it'd likely be in the $23-28k range here. Devil is in the details, gotta have really good condition paint and interior to fetch the higher prices.

By the barren trees I wonder if you live in salt land.

If you do, and you've not regularly cleaned and treated the frame, you could have a real problem.

Carvana is a good place to get a WAG.

Thanks to everyone with their advice. It is a 4x4. I live in Wisconsin. Rust is always a concern here. I've always been diligent in keeping it cleaned, especially the underside. As mentioned, the prices on these seem to be all over the place. I appreciate the information from everyone in different areas.

    It looks like a DCLB SR5 4x4.
I bought pretty much that same truck at a stealership about 4 years ago with 87,000 miles for $21,500.
If it’s worth 23-28k now, that’s the best investment I’ve made in years!
    Just saying.

FWIW, mine is a WI truck of the same year and my frame is still perfect. I think it's the older ones that really took a beating.

Thanks, Pixeltim. I believe my frame is in very good condition as well. I will post up some frame pics later.

not knowing the frame condition and more in depth photos I lowballed it.

My 2012 with 137k and 1 accident on its record (no frame damage, just a sideswipe) I feel like I could get 18-20k for
