Hey, I knew that one too! Forwards not backwards, upwards not forward, and always twirling, twirling!

And same, haven’t watched too many new episodes but the ones I did catch were still pretty sharp. Once South Park came out the Simpsons became less edgy and more wholesome by comparison. Not a bad thing, just have to know how it shapes expectations on the humor.

I should have known you were also a fan.

It's definitely evolved over the years, but still better than a lot of stuff on TV.

I became a fan when they were just short clips on the Tracy Ullman show. Which really makes me wonder why I was watching the Tracy Ullman show at age 10. :anonymous:

Sorry, not paying attention. Are you guys talking about the Simeon’s? If so, back in the begging when you guys were still in diapers my roommates and I used to busy out of work and ride. Always a PIA with them on Simpson night. They were all pro riders and I had ent gotten there quite yet. Hateful rides to come home and watch some fun

I'm trying to figure out what you're trying to say here. I think autocorrect may have sabotaged you.

but, I can guarantee you that the Simpsons were not on the air when I was in diapers.

Aren't sliders suppose to be covered in cheap paint and scratches?

Had mine on a day before adding more scratches to the existing scratches (field tested for quality in Iowa by @Tigerian :D) and later, some gouges.

Saved my ass a handful of times already.

Scratches and cheap paint? I would be so embarrassed when I go to the mall.
All my off road accessories need to be pristine and polished lol

If you have the infamous @Tigerian sliders, those lived in my basement for 5 months after they were won at a raffle at Shamrock Shakedown at Windrock Park

Cali Raised has similar sliders for $945 and free shipping. Are they similar in quality?

And rust! Don’t forget rust. Speaking of which, what’s the consensus on using naval jelly to get some of the stuff off. I’m using a grinder right now with stripper wheels or wire wheels, but it’s really slow going. I am amazed at how much surface area hides on a tube! Also, does Naval jelly work to strip powder coating?

Over the winter I kept oiling them until I have time to get at them like you are.
The phosphoric acid is what eats the rust.
You could use Coca-Cola if you prefer.

I used this stuff from KBS Coatings called RustBlast when I did mine. Fairly certain it uses the same chemical process to convert the rust but also has some other ingredients that give an oxide layer for paint to adhere to afterwards. Probably can't go wrong with either product.

Solid front axle and 37s? Nice!!

I initially chose RCI because the leading edge is angled so it wouldn't hang up in any rocks. Not sure if caliraise has the flat edge or the angle edge
