it's a really really really convoluted system.

but overall engineered really well. pretty baller but god forbid you loose one of the quick disconnects. overall there might be issues with his resi mount and this system. overall cool. but not worth the $1400+ (shipping+dooty+ import fees)

I just appreciate that someone solved a problem. We are all legal liabilities on the road. Some of us more than others.

I was going to say something about the castle nut. With no locking (yeah the system itself may have some mitigation) like a cotter pin you are really trading off a proven safeguard for a critical system for an accessory. This does not give me good stomach feels even in my fast and loose ways. I a, also interested to see how that stands up to salt wash over a couple winters.

The biasing ram is also something that seems hokey. Is this just to try and make re attachment easier?

    might have other uses.

Looks like it could also be what prevents anything from binding against the slidebar that bolts into the USA balljoint. basically as the truck flexes either side of the wheel, that damper might "auto adjust" by leaving enough slack on the slide where it wont bind in anyway.

since the sway bar isn't exactly fixed in place/ loosely hanging on. the damper is also holding it in place and keeping it out of the way of the rest of the system.

IDK feels gimicky without doing a full analysis on how everything interacts with itself.

Looks like theres some clarance issues with the nut/stud on the endlink to the coil in that pic. The Apex doesnt have this issue in the advertised application but their shock coil perch is pretty high and the coil diameter decreases at the perch

Total Chaos, Icon, JBA, All-Pro... all use friction-based locknuts. Haven't caused a problem in the past 18 years. My SPC upper arms came with castellated nuts. However, after I added spindle gussets, the extra gusset flange thickness pushed the cotter pin hole to the wrong depth, so I had to buy nylon lock nuts. They haven't loosened after 3 years.

The little damper is an air shock apparently. It just prevents the sway bar from rattling uncontrollably when the links are freed. That's to address the biggest complaint with the longstanding sliding link design - noise.

The install is somewhat involved. They make you shift the sway bar forward by drilling new holes in the frame and putting in rivnuts; relocation blocks apparently don't work. You'd also need to drill three new holes in the frame with rivnuts for the air shock bracket, and drill a little dimple in the sway bar to lock the lever in place.

As most said for the price it’s a no from me. I haven’t run a sway bar for some time. Just limit straps and that’s been working.
