I saw that meme this morning actually. It reminded me of my old Camry wagon.

    @Speedytech7

Do you know if I can test a 1UZ VVT solenoid the same way I did with my brothers BMW?

I used a 9V on his to see if it actually worked to open and close.

Friend just shot me a text about his LS400 and sent me a picture of a P1349; sucks the driver and passenger solenoids are side specific so I can't swap them but I'd like to pull it, clean it out, and see if it operates off a 9V without damage.

    Jets and Islanders are out.

Canucks lost but there was some controversy regarding Nashvilles first goal going unchallenged. Back to Nashville we go...

Yeah, they should make a click, can do it with 12v too just don't dwell it. They can get shit all over their screens in old engines, might just need a clean

I'm prepared for a Kings exit tonight but holding onto a little hope. Their 1-0 loss a few days ago was tough but they played well and outshot EDM 33-13 or something like that. Skinner was hot in goal that night for them. If they can bring that same kind of game tonight I see it working out better for them..hopefully.

I’m sure mpg suffers a bit. Not like anyone in Japan is driving that fast or for that long. Half their cars are more brick shaped than a Scion XB.

Well fingers crossed. Our back up goalies back up was a rock star but damn, it certainly feels like we have one hand tied behind our back. Saros was an absolute wall last night, I felt the Canucks play was above the preds, way more opportunities at that end of the ice but just failed to get them into the net.

The preds goal came from them crashing the net while our goalie was covering the puck, and collided with our goalie pushing him into the net with the puck..... not sure what kept the coach from challenging it. No trust in Toronto?

He's got over 300k miles on it; it's my buddy with 6-7 different Toyota's and Lexus (including the rhino lined 60 series LC)

    He sure loves his Yotas

Gonna bring it over in a bit since I'm not doing anything today

Work on the bumper resumes once I get those lights dropped off to me

Yeah puck luck is definitely a real thing, sometimes you outplay the other team but the bounces just go their way. That's the beauty of the playoff format though, relying on puck luck won't win you a best of 7 series and the better team will come out on top.

Yeah I heard about that questionable goal, usually when there's goalie contact before a goal there will be a coaches challenge on it. I haven't seen it so can't really say. I do know that if a challenge is called and the on-ice call is upheld, the challenging team will get a penalty for delay of game. At least with penalty or offsides challenges, I'm not sure about goal ones. But if that's the case, they might not have felt it was worth risking the penalty

I don't know why but those old Camry wagons give me Jeffrey Dahmer serial killer vibes

I'd imagine finding some cigarette butts in the ashtray, couple of crushed beer cans under the seat, and wadded up Marlboro red boxes in the rear floor

Oh god, I can smell what I just described :anonymous:

I don't get people that collect their cig butts in their cars, like I know it's better for everyone that they at least aren't tossing them out onto the road/sidewalk...but damn at least put them in a can or something and toss it. My friend here at work in IT used to smoke a lot, whenever I'd get into his old Subie the passenger floor mat had a couple inch layer of old cig butts on it. WTFFF

he quit smoking though and got a new Subaru, I'm glad to say he treats it way better lol

I meant to ask him what he did with that old car, I can't imagine trying to sell it with that freaking smell that you'd never be able to get rid of

I'd imagine someone that really wanted a Subaru for cheap bought it

Especially since it'd have a rust-free unibody coming from CA

    Probably from AR

For sure, but imagine how reliable those old things are

Especially if that person has been taking care of all the old stuff that needs replacing with age IE rubber components, vacuum lines, etc
