this, you probably won’t really get any additional gain due to uca uniball maxing out. I was able to utilize it due to having the dirt designs kit with vertical uniballs.

Who else has replaced inner pivots on the JD LCA’s yet? My uniballs are very concerningly loose in the sleeves. Light tap with a hammer and they eject. With signs of the race spinning in the sleeves as well.

This is what I get for reading. Same story here for me on 4 out of 4 pivots.

You guys are seeing that he actual outer races are spinning in the cups of the control arm?
    That seems very not good.
Wonder if its something with the sizing of the JD arms or the type of uniball thye use.
I put 60k miles on my original camburg ones and they were all tight in the arm, but definitely loose in the ball/race area. None were actually sloppy though, and 7 out of 8 pressed out fine with a hammer or vice. One I had to bring to a buddy with a press. All the new ones pressed in easy with a little bit of anti-seize.

Oh yeah. Took nothing more than a single tap on all of my inner pivots to knock them out. Cleaned up the sleeve and now the uniballs just drop in. Same exact issue I had with my first set of uniball shackles too. Moisture was very clearly getting between my uniballs and sleeves. So clearly not a good fit from the start.

I gotta check all those things. What uniballs are they? I should just start stocking replacements. I haven't touched my rear shackles yet either, but those are only a year old.

    I’m replacing with FK WSSX16T F1 fit.

The originals were FK’s budget line AIN16T’s.

Once I figure out how to make them tight again anyways….

I'm wondering if you'd need a +.005" oversized bearing to get a press fit again?

Impossible to say for sure without measuring the bore.

Yes. UCA pivots are 3/4 uniballs. Also worth checking as all 4 of mine had decent play.

Bores are out of round. One of the uniballs that came out shows sign of this. Picture one shows what appears to be moisture spotting. Picture 2 shows what I believe is signs of spinning in the bore making contact.

That does look like spinning. Are the seals a standard PN#?

Lowers are chunks of rubber that almost appear to be laser cut? Uppers are a standard seal 1.5” OD 1” ID. Unsure of a number but you should be able to reuse all of them.

    keeping jersey dirty
    Yikes
Gonna take some creativity or very oversized bearings to make up for that. Maybe glue or weld some shim stock around the od if yall can't find oversized bearings. But to me that looks like recall level bad
