I need new tires. I was planning on upgrading my wheels from the stock steelies, but now the wife/boss says no lol. I still want to step up a size in tires. Anyone running 265/70/R16s on the stock steelies?

That's what I'm going to try, I need to replace my hankook ht 245/75 16's. Why would they even put highway tread on a 4x4, they will load up with mud in about 1 second. I hate getting stuck in mud.lol

hey, been lurking for a while and figured it's time to sign up. i took delivery of, what might be THE last new '23, on 3/16. I just hit 700 miles. the plans are simple... wheels/tires, tonneau cover, and we'll go from there. i hit the wheels with that rustoleum peel-coat plastidip-ish stuff and i dont hate it. it's a great little truck! does everything I need it to! no good pics at the moment...

Nice, every time I see a silver Tacoma I regret buying a MGM. AC is the perfect cab configuration too, too bad they killed it for ‘24.

I think you like what you don’t have because I was between silver and mgm and everytime I see an mgm I’m like hmm should I have went that route. Sliver hides the dirt and scratches a little better though, I for these mid sized trucks with small back seats an AC with a 6ft bed is the best configuration. I see a DCLB and at that point should have just went with a full size truck.

Silver was my first choice, but needed a new truck “like right now” (engine died in my old truck) the MGM came in before the silver did, so that is what I got.

Yeah feel the same about the DCLB, since Toyota killed the AC, probably get a F150 or F250/350 Super Cab when I wear out my Tacoma, though might be dead by that point. Ha! :) Last truck went 22 years (and still have it) so who knows what will be available 20-25 years from now, and i’ll be in my 70s if I am lucky!

Mine had Toyo P rated whatevers, super lightweight but didn’t trust them running down gravel roads. Did get halfway decent mpgs with them though, consistently 23-24 commuting.

The Yokohama G015 I have on there now fetches 18-20.

Hey all, looking for some info on someone on the site who sold TRD Pro grilles. I gotta replace one of my raptor lights and want to pick up a few spares as well. I’m pretty sure his handle was the Mexican taco, but can’t find him. If anyone has gotten a grille off him recently and can point me to him that would be awesome!

If your lights unplug individually you might be able to use these.

Figured it’s been a while since I posted the yota on here. 3.5 years into having it, just got my title last month. Did pretty much everything to it that I’ve wanted to do. I honestly couldn’t be happier with the way the truck has been over the last couple years. I’ve taken it on several road trips up and down the coast and have had no problems at all. I’ve wanted to stay on the OEM+ route and keep all mods tasteful/practical. Adding the exhaust and intake have definitely been the difference makers for this so far, managed to break a couple necks driving without the truck being obnoxiously loud and it never drones on the highway either.

    Upgrades so far have been:

OEM fogs from a TRD OR
    Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws
    SCS Ray 10 wheels 16x8 -12mm offset
Retro fitted my headlights to have the inside painted satin black, added Spyder LED High beams
TRD Pro grille added, TSS sensor rerouted and raptor lights
    Borla S-Type catback exhaust
    K&N intake system
