My guy friend is upset at my Tacoma vs

IMO they are way over-styled: especially the front end and grille. I saw an orange one at a dealership with either an orange or red interior that had accent panels of the same color all over the interior, and seat fabric that looked like some sort of an orange plaid pattern or fallen leaves, and a screen sticking up from the center stack that looked like it was at least 19". I can't imagine driving at night with that screen. It looked like it needed a pull-down shade.

Makes you wonder why truck manufacturers haven’t explored rear wheel steering more. Honda and Mazda did it back in the late ‘80s, and the new Mercedes EQS has it. And you don’t need the full steering range to impact turning radius. Of course, implementing that in a 4X4 is more challenging, but I’m sure not insurmountable.

No sir. Nope: Yours looks better than some of the new Tundras no matter what package is on it. Especially that chrome one. They should call that one the: "Las Vegas Package" (IMHO)

 

Maybe they figured if you financed a $60k Tacoma over 7 years, then you deserve a break on a replacement headlight.

The cheapest I saw on ebay was $350 for one so idk. I prefer to count in terms of running 90s Toyota Corollas/Camrys how much a modern LED housing costs. So in this case 1/2

This is something I actually thought about before buying my 23. The oem toyota ones are not cheap.

Also, I dont think the new tacoma is terrible looking, but some of the "trying to look aggresive" angles and absolutely 100% the front and small set back lights are ugly/stupid looking as fuck. Of course thats just my opinion, and ultimately those arent key factors in what makes a good truck.
