These guys went through about every shock set available with those uca's. The uniballs on those over the JBA's bolt on balljoint design is a bonus for strength.

I like Elevate's aluminum uca's in king blue or grey.

You asked if anyone has had experience using those Elevate uca's you linked. The video shows those Elevate uca's being tested with nearly every shock available for Tacoma's.

Element and Elevate are the same company. They switched their name to Elevate.

Ok my bad I just google element and it shows all of Elevate UCA. I wonder how long they last, the UCA link I posted, I like then, so you think they are better then the JBA? The link to the one I post?

Either would be fine. Uniballs are stronger than balljoints, but many run the JBA's without issue.

What Caught my attention is that they are a Zero Maintenance UCA, save me from having to buy a Greece gun and etc...

Jbas here. Mine have 90k on them, still the original ball joint and bushings. Zero play, zero issues. Granted it’s just a daily driver and dirt roads to the hiking spots but they have performed flawlessly.

Reviving this thread bc I'm trying to diagnose a front end clunk/rattle while going slow over rocky stuff when offroading. I wanna say it's just the nature of the heim joints but idk for sure. I had camburgs on my 1st gen but those had poly bushings and never any issues. These use adjustable heims. Wondering if it's the nature of the heims to have a little play and cause some feedback. Its best described as a rapid, slight clunking/rattle that happens going slow over rocky terrain. Kinda sounds like the uniballs being loose but they're tight! Brand new eibach shocks too. This light clunking was evident on initial install but dissipated and went away.. Went on a 4x4 excursion the other day and while I was out in the thick of it, it came back and got more and more prominent while crawling over terrain, to the point of the clunking being quite loud, instead of only slightly noticeable on initial install.. I suppose it could be the uniballs but hard to believe. But im convinced it's something with the uca's. Nothing else was changed except shocks. But it 'feels' like the ucas.

I've got some btf lowers on order so I'll be delving deeper to inspect the uppers while im in there. Just curious if anyone has any additional feedback for me on this (no pun intended).
