SO last night I was driving home and a car blew a red light and got my TACO really good. Luckily no one was hurt. I walked away from the crash perfectly fine and so did the person who ran the red.

I have never been in an accident before, so I don't know much about the whole insurance process, but working through that now.

Safe to say that the taco won the battle. All of the airbags went off and kept me safe thank god.

there is no better car than a TOYOTA and I will forever stay by that!

So what do yall think? is it totaled or not?

Glad to hear you are okay!
The biggest factor is the value, and we see it's a 2018, but don't know the mileage (that weighs heavy in to value).
I'd guess it's a goner though. Those airbags are gonna be some serious $.
Off to a third world country it goes to live on!

Are you okay though? That's the big thing.

I cannot stand this crap with people. Glad it wasn't worse for you personally but I swear people like the one who hit you shouldn't have licenses.

Bad enough that people on their phones etc cost everyone money and time, but health can't be bought. Seen this up close with a loved one recently.

Have the other guy's insurance company provide you with a rental vehicle.

Get a good attorney to advocate for you. He ran a red light, so it should be an easy case for an attorney to pick up. Otherwise, you'll likely get screwed by his insurance and yours. And go to the doc to get checked out, just in case. Unless you got the bargain basement policy, your insurance should cover some medical payments for you.

milage was 55k. I was shocked at how all of the airbags went off. Kept me safe, so thats all that matters!

too bad this guy had no insurance and no license on him while driving! Always good to be insured against the uninsured! No injury or anything of that sorts either, definitely counting my blessings!

Ugh, and he probably wasn’t arrested, and won’t be held responsible to cover any of the damages because he has no money. So we’ll all just pay more uninsured motorist fees on our insurance, which means we’ll all eventually pay for his poor life decisions.
In a civil society, he should be mowing your lawn for the rest of his life or pay up now.

In NH, if you don't have insurance, you will loose you're right to drive and are subject to civil penalties as well. You can be sued and the damaged party will win.
