~23F/24R, 1” of rake is cool but if I lower the front another 1” I’d be at 2” of rake which I don’t really want

Never mind I found photos. I understand that probably isn’t the look you’re going for in Hawaii. But it looks fine. If you add weight it’ll level off also

I was able to get the bushings out that came with the Icon RXT leaf springs, including the "flanged" two-piece outer sleeves. Basically, I just pressed out the center bolt sleeve and rubber with a ball joint press. Didn't use any of the adapters, just put the screw end against the center bolt sleeve and cranked. The rubber stayed with the bolt sleeve and came out with it. Once the first half-bushing cleared, removed ball joint press, pulled out cleared bushing, then reset tool and pushed out other half.

This left the two-piece flanged outer sleeves in the leaf spring eye. I used an air hammer with a flat(ish) tip and hammered at the inside seam between the two bushing half-sleeves. Once one half pushed out, flipped over the leaf spring and did the same for the other half. You may have to air hammer it for a few seconds, then it will start moving. I think each half took about 20 seconds to push all the way out. Could probably also use the sharp pointed tip with the air hammer but the squared tip gave me two points of contact, and I think the single sharp tip may score the inside of the leaf spring eye more.

Below is a picture of all the tools that worked for me. The big hammer and 30mm socket with extension were only used on the first bushing sleeve I removed. One half dropped out easily with the air hammer, but the other half didn't seem to be moving. The 30mm socket was just the right size to fit inside leaf spring eye and up against the bushing. Then I just used the extension with the socket to beat it out. On the next bushing sleeves, I realized that I just needed to give the air hammer a few more seconds to work and the bushing sleeve would slowly start moving. After the sleeves were out I installed the Dobinsons poly bushings, using Super Lube on all the pieces. I also have the Dobinsons greaseable bolts and got Super Lube grease gun cartridges to use on the poly bushings.

Sorry I didn't take any in-process pictures. I did this on brand new Icon RXT leaf springs that aren't installed yet. Will be more difficult with them already installed, that's why I did it now. I also added the inner tube spacers and a bunch of dry lube PTFE spray and silicone spray (WD-40 Specialist brand). I couldn't find any silicone spray with PTFE already in it (like Super Lube), so just hit it with both between the leafs when installing the inner tubes. I also covered the inner tube pieces with Super Lube grease before installing.

Won't get a chance to install everything on my truck for a week-or-so (Icon RXT leaf springs, Bilstein 6112/5160 shocks, ECGS bushing, carrier bearing drop). Will update with pics after install.

Anyone ever get 4" (loaded) from stage 2 Icon leaf pack?
    I was at 20-1/2 and 21-1/2 now I'm at
    24-1/2 and 25-1/2...just my luck.

As of today, stock 4600s all the way around, 6112/5160 will be ordered soon, just wanted to see what the new leafs did first.

Stock height is around 22" and that is what Icon gives their measurements off of.
After a few days the pack should settle down at least 1/2"

Also did you install the stage 2 leaf in the correct orientation?

I was wondering what stock height should be, thanks for that.
    Yeah everything is installed correct.
I figured my springs were sacked a little but even at 22"I'm well over the advertised
1-3/4" loaded number, at least on the one side.

I don't want to go over 2" in the front, hopefully my rake isn't too weird.

Maybe I'll grab my boat and tow it around for a week, hopefully it settles in.

I really think it takes a long time to settle in if youre not hauling heavy weight all the time. I have a AC stage 2 been on about 15k with a topper and 2-300 extra lbs in the bed and it has not dropped much. The other day i threw 4-500 lbs of crap from my garage and thew a big bar into the hitch receiver and gave it a few jumps i am no featherweight at 220lbs to see if it may settle more and nope. I am about 2'' higher in the back now with my normal everyday gear which is 4-500lbs including my topper with a 1.1 lift up front. With the extra 4-500lbs it only dropped 1'' leaving me with a 1'' rake with 700lbs in the bed including the topper. I think they under rate their numbers, stage 1 might not be enough and stage 2 seems to be an inch high for me. I guess i could always go stage 1 and if needed a 1/2'' block/shim if its too low.

My understanding was stage one wouldn't be great for towing /hauling some weight ,
    that's why I went 2.

Then I get too much from 2, not into doing things twice. I've put on more lifts on trucks than I can remember. My first Toyota, they seem to be fussy.
But I read that going in.

Did you torque the shackle bolts while in the air or when loaded on the ground? If.you did it in the air, then loosen them and see if it drops.

Squeak finally went away when I installed cap this weekend. Liking option 3 more now that I have weight back there.

    Hey guys,

I recently purchased 6112s and 5160s and icon rxts. Looking to do the 9/7 setting on the 6112s (1.5 inches of lift) in the front. I am running a camper shell (250bs) and a sleeping build out (100lbs). I dont want more than a 2 inch lift in the rear, hoping for about 1-1.5 inches to keep the ride quality with the 5160s. Should I go option 1 or 2? Thanks
