Never been to Tigerton so I'm not sure what the terrain is like.

Ordering full RCI skid pkg was $850.
    Ordering them individually was $890.
Had to order individually to get free cat guards.
So it was $40 more individually to get free $130 cat guards.

Other than mall crawling, I'd always go armor first.

That's not a bad deal for all of that steel though. And it's good stuff.

Honestly at Tigerton you can choose your own adventure to avoid anything that you think will cause damage. That said it’s good that you got armor first. but mostly because the extra weight will make it easier to justify getting a lift :D

Yup, and it's better to know how much weight you'll have when you order shocks to get the right spring rate the first time.

    Roughly 150#'s in weight.
    About as much as me.
No different than adding another passenger.....
Add the slider weight, no different than adding a larger, passenger. :D

It adds up and WILL make a difference in your front springs and it will affect the valving in your shocks.

That's what has me leaning toward Team Tyler with the OME MT64's.

OME are Australian , and out there wheeling is literally ride or die.

    Their stuff just plain works.

Should also be noted that ARB has owned OME since 1988, so if you like ARB quality then yeah OME is good stuff. The only thing I think to avoid is the Dakar leafs because they have a history of being squeaky/noisy compared to others like Deaver, Alcan, Dobinsons.

That being said, I think most top brands will perform just as well as one another in most cases. It's not like there are huge gaps between them any more, very competitive market and many of the shocks for our trucks are overkill anyways. Hard to go wrong unless you really go cheap.

Team Teal is also another solid choice from down under. My Dobinson IMS shocks have been on for almost 50,000 miles and are holding up good. IMS isn’t adjustable, but it’s a solid choice if you don’t wanna spend MMR or OME MT64 money.

Fluid film your dakars, and you can sneak up on people like I do

Also solid, and Dobinson have a combo/option for damn near every build out there
