My gf wants a Yorkie.. Her parents just dropped 5k on a brand new one

 

Ooof, my buddy's mom had one growing up. She was cute, but mostly just annoying, when they get that size the barks can literally only be shrill.

Yeah if I wanted a dog I'd get a dog, I'd rather just get another cat then any toy-size dog

 

Dog-like cats are awesome, I agree I'd rather another social cat than a tiny dog.

 

At least big dogs have the size to back up their lack of physics knowledge... small dogs don't but they regularly challenge what ought not be challenged. Plus some of the dumbest things hurt them, my bosses Chihuahua/Yorkie mix eats bugs and then he regularly needs to take her to the vet because apparently bugs cause her internal bleeding.

 

My cat plays fetch, thats enough of a small dog for me

 

Oh yeah, mine too (well, one of them...the other was a feral rescue so he's very timid). Harley is basically a Labrador in a cat suit. He fetches better than Dex does, but fetch really isn't in a Husky's repertoire lol.

It only sucked that Theo really disliked it as he got older

He doesn't mind loud noises and actually loves getting scared, but the sudden loud barking would really stress him out and he'd start crying a lot

 

Yeah Sofia was and still is kind of that way with Dex, when Dex gets hyper he becomes an absolute wrecking ball and it scares the hell out of Sofia lol. She's getting more used to it as she gets older/bigger.

 

She's probably getting close enough in size to wrestle with him though, that helps a bit

 

All this puppy talk is making me miss mine. Only thing that stung from the divorce was losing her.

 

Our lil mini heeler is pretty cool, strong headed of course.

hope she atleast gets big enough to jump in the truck, jumps out no problem
