    Before my lift and tires, I was pushing just over 310.
    Now I get a little over 250 if I'm being easy with it.

    Then again my gas gauage's needle is off so it could sit on empty and still have a 1/4 of a tank left. One day I'll ride it completly dry to get an accurate distance.

    Damn! It pisses me off that I have got 300 miles on one tank 1 time. I try keeping it under 2k rpm's but I also drive mostly city so... I'm averaging about 250-260

    Your also a 6 cylinder so that may have a little to do with it.

    It really depends on the conditions though. When in stop and go traffic during rush hour and me getting impatient and driving my truck like it's a little sports car, well...it doesn't like that too much. But when I cruise on the highway, it hardly uses any gas. I drove almost 4 hours (over 250 miles) to the Citrus meet and still had a decent amount to spare.

    America's got more reserves than anybody, there's no shortage. Drilling won't help prices.

    Let's put it this way, I can't fill my tank with anything lest than $80 dollars, I get 13-15 on the HIGHWAY, I've got a 5 speed automatic and the RPM's never go over 2k.

    Why wouldnt drilling help prices? Think about it, the prices are high because of the oil companies over seas. The transport of the oil is one of the main reasons the prices are so high. If you get down to it just about everything these days revolve around oil. Yes I know America has just the biggest oil reserves. Oil prices go up food prices go up just that simple. I cant think of the name right now but its like the main business that controls the oil prices. It hink it starts a C?
