steering wheel vibration around 60-70mph, 2k rpm.
if use the "shift-it-yourself” mode and downshift, The RPMS go up, speed stays the same, while the vibration basically goes away. upshift again and it reoccurs.
occasionally i get a vibration when moderate breaking from that speed, but the steering wheel does not vibrate.

hard to pin point where its coming from but feels like front of vehicle.

based on above i would guess the following but wanted everyones input.
Torque converter, does these have lock up /Over Drive?
Engine misfiring under load at low rpm?
rhythmic vibration b/c of something in tranny or engine?
    warped roter?

Maybe you threw a balancing weight on one of the tires. I'd start with the cheap and easy before you start tearing the engine or transmission apart.

I had a rhythmic vibration around 50mph on my stock Toyo tires. Rotating them never got rid of the vibration. I never had them re-balanced because wasn’t happy with Toyo anyway.

I had tread life left but got Michelin LTX Defenders at 40K miles and no more vibration.

Your situation may be different if down shifting makes the vibration go away. Maybe, try a Road Force balance first.

Also, do you have 4x4 or 2WD? If you have 4x4, does the vibration go away when in 4Hi?

4x4. and i have the TOYO tires.. i am actually really impressed with the tread life and overall ability of the tire for the cost. i have read online that the wheels had issues but wasnt sure the year. will change wheels and tires once they are needed in another 15-20k
