I love TEXAS! spent the weekend in Riviera this past weekend and have to say Gerorge Strait knows what he is saying in that if it wasn't for Texas song. Best place i have been to in a while and the people were very friendly.

I did the Atkins Induction for those 10 weeks. 20g of carbs a day or less. I'm now starting Slow Carb which is basically the same diet, but you do Atkins low carb 6 days a week and then 1 day a week you can eat whatever you want. You're basically spiking your calorie/carb intake on that 1 day to prevent your metabolic rate from shutting down and causing long plateaus.

Well congrats. I started a regiment of cardio and healthy eating today, trying to drop between 30-40 lbs myself.

Great, looks like tacomas are smart vehicles :frusty:

Hopped in the truck to go look at trading her in, and the check engine light comes on . So instead of the dealer I was off to autozone, pull the code (P0171) and with a little research it looks like its the mass air flow sensor :(.

I guess that explains the amazing fuel mileage right before to horrible drop in mileage.

I got 135 miles out of the first quarter of a tank! Only 75 of that was highway!

After that I dropped down to around 65 miles per quarter tank on the highway

Now I get to test my skills at cleaning one. Say, will a engine run without one? I'm just wondering if I completely break it if I will be walking?

I couldn't find it. I have a feeling the roof rack is letting some water in, but I swear it's sealed tight from the screws
