Must be a decent sized boat. What kind of boat is it?

Kayaks are fun! I have 3. I like camping on small lakes with limited access and kayak fishing. A Jon boat would be good for these types of places also.

As much as we joke, I haven't really hated any boats I've used or owned. With decent maintenance, they're not really bad.

No, thanks. I piss away enough money on 4Runner stuff, fishing stuff, and booze.

And, my latest splurge, another bass guitar, because 5 wasn't enough. :D

It's going to be great to finally have a really nice 4 string, though.

    So, I need some financial
advice… Thoughts on one of these for running a fridge? Both in terms of brand, and battery size. Please and thank you.:D

    Enough said

I have a Bluetti 800w for the refrigerator. It fits nicely behind the passenger seat. I will show you at Tigerton.

Ecoflow as a brand has a good reputation. So does Bluetti as Dan mentioned.

Determining if they are good for your use case is a little harder to answer. If you are only powering the fridge, determine the power consumption and compare to the power available. Watt hours divided by 12 = Amp hours.

In my opinion...PROS = Convenient all-in-one package, portable so you can use it outside the truck, nice array of charging ports. CONS = Very expensive $$$ per Amp hours versus a DIY system, low amount of power, slow charging when mobile.

Comparison of that EcoFlow DELTA 2 versus my system: EcoFlow: 1024Wh battery = 100Ah. Charges at 8A on DC, so would take 12 hours to charge from zero in an ideal world. My Redarc DIY system: 2,472Wh battery = 206Ah. Redarc charges at 40A. 5 hours to charge twice the power. Cost is surprisingly only slightly more on the DIY side, that EcoFlow ain't cheap.

Now of course if you're gonna use the power brick in your external tent for CPAP or other conveniences around camp, then yeah that's something a hard-wired battery can't do. I'm just putting specs out for comparison since this seems to be a hot topic this year. Apparently all those hours of watching the Aussie 4WD247 has subliminally made us all power up LOL. Seriously though it's cool that all this power technology has finally become somewhat cost-effective that anyone can join the game. Going to be crazy when the next generation of batteries comes out and makes LFP look like caveman tech.

I never really felt the need to have a big collection, because most basses feel like garbage compared to the Thumb. But, I've been wanting a nicer 4 string for years. Having some fun money made it easier to justify. Also, the fact that it only cost 1/3 of what the Warwick cost in 1996 made it easier.

I can run my fridge off a goal zero 500x for two days. It’s similar capacity.
