Just wanted to try a thicker oil for the warm season. I'll go back to 0w-20 for winter.

I like what this guy built:

I would modify it around the geometry of my truck, however.

Did you make all these changes at once? Going off what you described. You got a TRD lift from Toyota. Two weeks later you got TRD Pro wheels. Then, you added the new Falkens.

It "could" be the new tires for sure. And maybe it is if you didn't notice vibrations till you added the new tires (and wheels), but it could be the driver's side needle bearing. It's hit or miss from lifted taco to lifted taco. But it seems to be a pretty common issue. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/needle-bearing-yes-replace-it-ecgs.716338/

In a perfect world you could add one item at a time and you'd be able to isolate the issue. But it might be a little of both issues. The combination of slightly larger tires (and their weight) is a force multiplier for the modest lift and presenting in the needle bearing issue. Good luck man.

It wasn't that bad, just time consuming. Extensions and swivels help.

Yup, I just bought one from BAM Wholesale and it was banged up as well. I paid $180.00 for it on Amazon. Whatever they mix into the rubber is showing through. I first thought I could clean it, but soon realized it's part of the rubber. Oh well, it's a mat and I will only beat it up myself. I also noticed it was probably a return due to the dirty scuff marks on top of it, it definitely was used for a short period of time.

To be fair, my Taco Limited is a 2WD, street tires and a bed cover (already have an old 4WD Chevy beater). My Yukon gets 18mpg so I’m tickled with this.

I purchased a factory Tacoma bed mat from another member on TW. If anyone wants the generic one I got when I bought the truck, enough to pick up in SC, make me an offer… anything, best offer can have it.

Rotated the tires at 59,760 Mi prior to my oil change. No pics, so enjoy the thought of seeing tires floating from the back to the front and the lug nuts screwing on and off with the help of my air cat pneumatic tool loosening and tightening those little black babies oh and don't forget my torque wrench took him up to 83 foot pounds.:hattip:

    Ah yes, smooth again.20240504_144613.jpg

I'm new to the bed mat game...but Rough Country for $99 seemed like a decent deal. It fits okay and seems about 3/8...maybe 1/2" thick.

Front seat covers today from Rough Country. They're okay I suppose...neoprene. A PITA to install the first one, then you figure it out second one wasn't so bad.
It was like wrasslin a gator in this Florida heat.
Fronts only. $119 for the set.
