Truck drove just fine all weekend. Wheeled it quite a bit. Didn’t overheat or break anything.

    great success

1uz swapped 4wd conversion 3rd gen Tacoma- that’s too much to explain.

The ONE thing I didn’t swap out before I dropped the motor in the truck….

    Waterpump :annoyed:

Wasn’t terrible though. Maybe have 3 hours into dissembling and reinstall. I’ll line up the timing tomorrow and reinstall everything.

Can confirm that a Matco 1/2” cordless impact can in fact loosen the crank pulley bolt on a 1uz. No sketchy starter bump for me lol

I didn't replace the water pump on my forester when I was doing the headgaskets. I'm sure it'll be fine

    Maybe

Waiting for Twin City to hear from Toyota if I'm approved or SOL. Have a couple of other plans in case I'm SOL. I COULD probably wheel it but I don't want to take a chance in causing more stress cracks and making the C channel separation even worse

That sounds like permission to go wheeling!

Hopefully the ball gets moving quickly so I can have someone to wheel with. It’s been way to long

Well I currently don't have my sliders and skids, they're getting sand blasted and powder coated. I want to go wheeling bad but my work schedule is absolute chaos because of me being on nights for snow and i can't be that far out. I literally can't go wheeling because of that even if my frame wasn't fucky. I'm just gonna keep it retired from wheeling for now because I've been driving it to work whenever I get called in for my snow shift. If I do end getting approved for a new frame from Toyota I'm gonna give this frame one last send off

Why do you have to be so responsible?

Lolol nah I get it. I haven’t been out in a long time. Didn’t wanna drive it with the waterpump leaking

It's this thing called adulting and I do not like

And I also have a couple of other issues with the truck that needs to get fixed eventually. Let's just say I'm not a big fan of driving it right now :anonymous:
