Alright, now you're just being silly.

Beer is such a broad category. I get it if people don't like beer. But, there are so many different types. If I could compare it to something like sushi.. I really like some types of sushi. But, other kinds are gross to me. But, I wouldn't say that Sushi is gross all together.

 

What's wrong with liking wieners?

 

Also, FYI, I haven't drank a single beer this evening. Tequila, that's another story.

 

Exactly. IPAs don’t interest me, but a Chimay Ale? Damned straight!

The micro-brews have really overdone it with IPA. It's a fine type of beer. But, it's just not an easy drinking type of beer. Lagers, Ales, pilsner's, even Porters are much easier to drink. I just don't get the obsession with the ipas.

 

Maybe the like the word India, idk.

I may agree. But, we live in a time when science only matters when people want it to.

At the risk of being blunt or offensive, one of the things I like about women is the fact that they're not men. It's weird that this feels like a controversial statement these days.

 

We only live in that time if we sit back and let the inmates run the asylum. I refuse.

The thing that is relieving to me is that I don't ever actually talk to anyone who shares these crazy views that are being spread on the news. I think that the media makes things out to be much worse than they actually are.

 

I do think the media is responsible for a lot of divisive sensationalism and too many people buy into it. Kindness and understanding are often cast aside. And believe it or not, you might already talk to people with different viewpoints. People would be shocked if I said/typed out some of my core thoughts.

Without saying much more and ruining everyone’s Friday night, this most recent chain of dialogue is my realization that I need to reduce my participation on TW a bit and become scarce. Not because I’m mad or disappointed. It’s just at this moment in a sea of chatter on ketchup, pineapple, and penises that it becomes clear I need to refocus my energy elsewhere. Hasta luego.

For sure. The vast majority of people, myself included, are live and let live types. It's always reported worse than it is.
