you have issues with it holding humidity? I ended up electrical taping the edges because it would lose it so fast

No, but I also live in NC so the general humidity is probably where the box is supposed to be anyway. I did add an additional hydro stick in the smaller partition.

Man, I gotta try that. I've been avoiding some of the special ryes lately because I've gotten some raunchy stuff...but I've read a lot of reviews on the JD Rye, and I'm gonna have to pick it up.

I really like Hudson whiskey. I bought the maple...a little too over flavored for me, but the same bourbon bottle you have on display is really good, I think it's very underrated.

It’s a double fRYEday….went side by side and since I enjoy higher proof bottles, I prefer the JD but the WT is good as well. Not really a fair comparison because of the 15 point proof difference, but they are both good bottles!

 

Hey TacomaVerse. Headed to Albuquerque in a couple of weeks, what are the best hunting locations? My sis in law scored some 30% off Kentucky Owl, and Bowman at Sam's Club. What else is out there?

 

Albuquerque is tough for hunting. Total Wine are the two big locations. Jubilation, Kelly Liquor, Paradise Liquor are really the spots in town. Perhaps there’s some stuff there that you don’t see locally, but NM does have a decent local spirit/distillery representation that you can visit or find at some of the shops.
