Until the first P5 (4) team with 2-3 losses is left out because of a 25th ranked G5 champ with 3 losses. Then youll all come out of the woodwork crying for more expansion.

 

Nope, it makes sense to have set in stone champions make it, just like in the nfl. Because everyone doesn’t play identical schedules. No more of this “well we feel this team that isn’t a champion deserves it more than this team that is”. Now they’ll have to prove it against the champions, period.

 

Ah, but that’s still an option! From what I’ve seen, if there isn’t a top 25 ranked G5 champ, they can still pick someone else to make the playoff!

 

That’s fine then, if you can’t be top 25 as a conference champion then F off lol. Honestly, I don’t care beyond 6, but 4 never made sense and they proved it didn’t this past year by excluding FSU. Idgaf what anyone says there is 0 logical reason to leave out an undefeated champion. Having at least enough teams in the playoffs to include each conference champion makes me happy. I don’t care who else makes it. If they win woohoo Cinderella bs whatever, but at least all the teams that won all of their games and earned a spot GOT a spot

UGA vs Clemson at noon is wild to me.

 

Nobody likes getting whipped in prime time, and they have a long drive home.

Real football is played on Sunday.

 

For some reason, I feel that the kickoff game in Atlanta is usually a noon or 330 kickoff time. I dont know why, because they usually have two reputable teams playing each other. (Im sure there are a few games in the past that went prime time)
