@tacobell007 Do you happen to have equipment to cut out LCAs? If not, I can wait to do those at Jared’s.

@AllTacosFloat If it saves time, I could possibly swing by your place sometime this week to swap our stuff.

@TacoTuesday603 Did you ever get around to welding stainless or whatever exhaust is made out of? I only just noticed that the guys that welded up the “reroute” left some gaps so it leaks somewhere. I’d also want to get that done at some point so I can mount up that air tank, lol.

I can, not as good as my mild steel welds but it’ll work. For the lcas you should just be able to use a sawzall.

Any plans with your old ones? I’m lookin for a set to rebuild with white line bushings

Was planning on keeping those as spare (with new bushings and ball joints)
    That’ll work too.

I’ll have to get all my parts together beforehand then, and try to get the new to me ones set before we start cutting.

I might be able to stop by for a couple of hours on that date but not the entire day. Do you have all new cam bolts and hardware?

A little while ago we had a conversation about armor weights in here I put some stuff on the scale while working today

    Stock hitch - 50 lbs
Stock rear bumper from the internet - 42 lbs

My hitch only setup - 40 lbs - not sure how this is heavier than stock (uses all 3/8 & 1/4" plate)
My fully dressed bumper (lights license plate and everything including some mud) - 95 lbs

    @Brownmatthall @GarlicFarts I was wrong, its a net 3 lb gain

Actually…. Probably. Buying truck armor is now a weight loss routine

Nope, I’m gonna ask Toyota Wellesley parts about it tomorrow or Tuesday.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on straightening out the main skid plate a little bit? Necessary or not? If y’all remember the MA Bell thing where I somehow absolutely mashed it, it has decent bend (by my OCD standards) I would rather take out.

@TacoTuesday603 If we ever do another meetup at your place, I might want you to look at my older version Calirasied sliders to see if we can beef that up in any way. From what I remember it has a lot more movement than I like.

Skid I think is definitely worth straightening out and then putting in some reinforcing ribs. What skid is it btw? I’m assuming steel here

Then for sliders yeah I can take a look. I think it would be in june. I think if you just swing up that’d be a whole day between all your stuff. I’ll post in here if people want to just hang or have something real quick.

I am tempted to get some 4x weld ons… I have some ideas
