These are R-22 central A/C condensers I found on Facebook Marketplace. All of them supposedly work, but the majority are older units; I actually think that the unit below is R410a, but I can't remember...

 

This Bryant is from 1992, and supposedly works, but it's old. The consensus on FB Marketplace seems to be that if it's R-22 and works, people will pay out the ass to not have to replace their entire system with one that uses R410a; I believe they stopped making R-22 units altogether in 2011, so the newest of those units are over a decade old. I have sent the seller of this 1992 Bryant several messages, offering as much as $50 for the unit, but have gotten no response...

 

Not only is it older, but it's a damn Nordyne; I messaged the seller and he absolutely refuses to budge on the price...

 

If I could get this guy down to $200, this would be a good deal; I would not scrap this unit, but where the hell would I keep it?!?!

 

This 1995-2001ish Goodman/Janitrol is being sold by an HVAC technician, who has actually been very nice, but won't go below $150. He is one of those people who seems to think that just because it's a working R-22 unit, somebody will actually want it installed in their home...

Another Bryant that's well over 20 years old. If somebody's central air breaks and they can't afford to get a new system, a brand new window unit could be purchased for less than what they're asking!

 

A lot of these are actually really nice units, but they're older, and they could literally die the day after being installed!

 

Brand new NOS central A/C unit, but it's still a damn Goodman!

 

I'd like to know where people are getting these old A/C units so I can have a cut of the action!

 

In very good condition, but why in the hell was it replaced?!?!

 

This thing was not worth $500 when it was new!

 

I bought a 1.5-ton 2011 Payne for $50...

 

If this is still available in a couple weeks, I'm gonna make an offer...

 

This one is actually a damn good deal, but it's too far from me...

 

Another Goodman; I could probably get about $150 for this whole system after breaking it down...

This guy was located somewhere in Jersey; I messaged him inquiring about the 1980s Comfortmaker system pictured...

 

Apparently, I messaged him before about another secondhand A/C unit he had listed (I have no recollection of this), and somewhere along the line he assumed I was looking to repair an R-22 central A/C system. He then started bombarding me with videos and pictures...
