Morning Pa. Had a short window yesterday of no rain, put down my grass seed in bare spots of yard. Been raining since, must be living right. Picking up middle Grand Daughter Baby Zayla for a few hours this afternoon. Happy Sunday all.

 

Unfortunately for me, I'm pretty sure I'm coming down with something. My manager was out sick Wednesday and came in the rest of the week and I believe transferred it to me. So it looks like I'll be spending it sick

I tried to do it online for my other motorcycle and went through all the step and just when I thought I was good to go got a message on the last page after filling everything out " go to your local dmv for a in person visit " welp that was a huge waste of time. So I have a feeling it will do the same thing if I do ot for my truck. So in person I go.

So I haven't had time to take the pool cover off yet and it's got tears in it I noticed a shit load of mosquitoe larvae and mosquitoe activity and the other night I was getting tore up. So mixed 3oz of some pesticide I have from previous job in a bucket of water and tossed it on top of the cover. 3oz Is not alot for that amount of water. But it killed everything. This rain isn't gonna help me drain the pool.

 

I think I got some tequila here, but I really don't feel like running around the yard naked again...

 

Hence the reason I gave up hard liquor.

 

Well appointment made with the dmv gotta take off work tomorrow which sucks but it's kinda important.

 

What did you plant? I’m slowly working on ours. Too damn busy lately. Hopefully have it all tilled and ready this week. Wedding planning, bachelor party, motorcycle events, life, etc

 

Rain every weekend is making mine questionable.

Got squash and cucumber seeds in the ground on Friday before the rain moved in. Have tomatoes and peppers inside under a grow light. I usually don't put them in the ground till late May because late frosts have fucked me up several times at this house. Forgot to grab corn seeds so I'll swing into tractor supply and get some silver queen at some point. I've stopped planting potatoes because its been so hot lately they haven't survived to a good yield.

 

We just get all of our plants from the Amish.

 

This reminds me I have to get my garden going too. One of my old customers from the cab company works on a farm and gave me 2 trays of tomatoes to plant. Last year I didn't do peppers definitely doing them this year.

 

Your wedding?

 

We had tomatoes, multiple types of peppers, cucumbers, zucchini and squash, spaghetti squash, and green beans last year. Oh and Brussel sprouts. Won’t do them again though. Just planning to scale back on quantities. We don’t need 12 jalapeño plants. I picked probably 500 of those alone. Mini sweets were the same. Birds Eye Thai chilis we won’t need ever again. Or kung pao chilis. Pepperoncinis we’ll do half a dozen again. We use those regularly for pot roast or in salads. We’re going to try to make our own spaghetti sauce this year so I’ll do a few Roma plants.

 

Yup. 2 weeks.
