Favorite Whiskey?

I had batch 2 and thought it was underwhelming. I passed on batch 3 this week and now I am starting to regret it.

 

If you need to get rid of bottles you have excess of, lmk. I could probably find homes for them

 

Last week's finds. Also picked up a couple spare EHT SiB. The Elijah Craig PGA is surprisingly good. Not many bottles at that $33 price that can compete with it imo

 

Recent pickup. Read lots of good things about this one. And it’s a cute 375.

 

What did you pay on this? I actually saw this last week for $130??? The location I saw it, they like to mark these type of bottles up, so maybe that was a decent price?Maybe??

That's about MSRP now. Prices went up for JD10/12. I paid $130 for batch 3

 

MSRP is $85/$95

Secondary is $130-$140

 

Really? I hope not that much. Was $75/$85 if I'm remembering correctly.

You might be right but everything I've heard is that this years batches went up significantly. Maybe just the distributors in CO? I got one at an allocation drop where the store doesn't really mark up and it was $130. Went to another drop and passed on it as it was also $130

 

Retail. 90ish I think.

 

Current MSRP is an increase from $75/$85 I believe. Maybe $75/$80

 

But yeah it’s MSRP so distributors can and will do whatever they want

 

That makes more sense, it seemed high. Total wine showing $110 as well. I can't keep up, think the distributors here suck

 

It’s awesome, they had a price increase on it this year. Went from 100 to like 200 over night

I should have bought more when it was cheaper

I’ve been opening new bottles in the last few weeks like it’s going out of style. Tonight I put one away. I enjoyed it and can see another one in my future. Cheers
