Interesting. Total wine is usually Msrp or as close to out here as can be. It was $120 I think when I picked it up. That's the lowest I've seen. Might be a state supply issue.

I’d actually agree with him. There are people who cannot stand loud places they can’t hear in. I’m one of them. Nearly two decades in Nuclear Power Plants/ Powerhouses my hearing is wrecked and places like that make me uncomfortable as well because I can’t hear what’s going on around me. There are also people with PTSD (I’m not one of them) that don’t like places like that. That said I would never post/ whine or complain about it, I just wouldn't go there. That’s what makes America great right? Choices! Again I understand his point but I think whining about it online is pretty silly. Just take your money somewhere else and move on with your day.

I'm not saying he had to like it. It's whiskey we all have different tastes. But shit I'm tired of seeing his beef everywhere today. If you want to post about it, at least have follow up dialogue

I've read mixed bags about WW, took a chance for $42 at bevmo last night. Not bad at all, kind of a citrus and cinnamon nose and cinnamon-y licorice-y butterscotch on the palate(huh). Kinda wish it was the holiday season again, I think this would mix an outstanding egg nog.

My mom found this last year while working in Yellowstone. She swears it is her favorite now. She left the bottle she bought last week on her way back to Idaho for the summer. I thought it was decent enough but probably won't get another unless she passes through and asks for some. Just basic juice, nothing noteworthy.

There’s a local whiskey spot I like to go to with different friend groups every now and again. Cool place with great indoor/outdoor seating, garage doors that open up, food trucks, cornhole, dog friendly. I don’t get to go often because it’s 30 mins out but I love going when I do. Well, went with some neighborhood friends one night and an hour after we get there a metal band starts playing. This is a small place and they’re just blasting it with huge speakers. Literally can’t hear the person next to me. We left and so did a bunch of other groups. We go to chill and relax and maybe hear some good laid back music, not get our eardrums blasted out. So I can relate to the story that was told above.

I totally understand not enjoying a particular venue on a particular night...but did you go blast this place all over the Internet or just plan accordingly and check the events calendar before returning?

He said he was going to buy multiple bottles, again I ask if the music made the whiskey taste bad?

    I don’t have FB, lol.

Yes, ridiculously loud music absolutely takes away from enjoying anything. Whiskey included.

And if I put up a post and said I was disappointed in a place because they were blasting the music so loud I couldn’t hear (legit complaint), and someone called me “soft” I wouldn’t respond either. What’s the point?

I would never in a million years think I needed to scrub a distillery’s website before going just to make sure the band that night wasn’t the type that would blow out my ear drums. And if that was my first and only experience, then I just wouldn’t go back.

Love the distillery, dislike the restaurant/whole vibe. I didn't even stay. I have a thing about loud places. Also, ya know, it's just not a whiskey bar, it's like a frat place hang out with the massive loud "music".

It's outstanding! A few extra bucks for the double oaked sherry cask is even better

Yeah it is definitely a college hang out especially on the weekend after classes end. Fort Collins and Boulder both have that vibe on Fridays until the kids leave for summer break. Sorry you didn't realize that before driving up from Longmont.
