    I'm convinced that woolwax/fluid film/surface shield is a good rodent repellent as well as a rust proofing. I assume they don't like crawling around in the grimy mess that it makes.

    A good friend of mine got hanta virus in New Hampshire from cleaning up a mouse nest. He was probably hours away from going on dialysis before the doctors figured out what was wrong with him. No one suspected hanta since it's rare in the northeast and he had unusual symptoms.
