That one was sold out when I purchased this. The olive handle was my first choice!

Oh man, I haven’t gone down that rabbit hole yet. But I feel like if I buy one I’m going to be having 30 soon.

I started messing with knives and leather sheaths a couple years ago , I buy Helle blades from a local supplier ,I made one for myself and one for my boss for Christmas,My boss wanted a horizontal carry sheath and after much thought this is what I came up with. I wanted if to be versatile , I finally made it yesterday ,after making it I can I already see a couple way I need to improve it

    Normal carry

Leather MOLLE strap is cool. I don’t think I’ve seen one like that.

Who has real world use with a Tom Brown tracker #2?

Overall ease of use? Best unguided sharpening approach with the blade profile? I’ve seen varied techniques with this blade.

That's a wild looking blade shape. Reviews seem mostly positive too. And it's not a terrible price.

MIL handed over a neat little knife today. Likely just a souvenier knife, no makers mark on the blade, but is stamped on the sheath.

That knife is way cool. Made in Norway, I doubt it’s a souvenir, I bet it was a fisherman’s knife. Looking at the blade it’s had a lot of use. Be cool to know it history. Does your MIL know any of its history? A large part of the Norwegian population is involved in the fishing industry.

Unfortunately, she has no other info other than it's been in a box of her parents stuff for quite a long while.
