Hey guys. So recently i took the truck out on a offroad trail. Some dumb teenager ended up hitting me from the front and destroyed my grill and the lower bumper. Damage isnt too bad, no broken wires nothing to that extreme. No bent metal. Luckly it wasnt a hard hit. But my problem is the ac controlls arent working what so ever. I dont see a little green light on the a/c button nor on the air circulation button. The knobs have no response what so ever. My friend who is somewhat of a mechanic said its probably a blown fuse. I tried looking for a a/c fuse but no luck. Can anyone help. Thanks guys

Grill damage, makes wonder if the condenser was damaged. It’s the next item exposed, and they’re thin aluminum, so any little impact will usually cause damage. Any damage is likely to cause leaks. If your refrigerant is low or gone, the A/C will not turn on.
You could be looking for this kid to help with repairs if so.

Would help to know what year your truck is and if you have auto or manual temp control so we can look up a wiring diagram.

I'm with Chew on this one. There are also the two A/C lines at each side of the condenser that could be damaged as well. My bet would be the passenger side tube considering the lower bumper got hit. Take a good look at that tube first.

That was my first thought as well but the OP said there is no response from the HVAC controls at all, a blown condenser wouldn't kill the blower and everything.

Still waiting to find out what year this thing is to know what wiring diagrams we need to be looking at.

this is a good point too!
Still kind of sus if this started with the front end damage.
I would get it to a good tech for a proper diagnoses.

Condenser and hoses are exposed and easily knickable. Start there. Turn it on and go up front and listen for a hiss or whistling noise if youre trying to diag, but likely needs to get the front end taken off and a professional diag on that front end extent of damage.

You were paying more attention than I was. A search through the OPs posts found his is a 2018.

I wonder if he could hear the compressor engage. If there aren’t lights it’s likely electrical. There are fuses in the kick plate driver side and by battery in engine compartment. Good luck
