Maybe this little POS fixed itself? Ha

It did rain all night so I’m guessing all this moisture helped.

Well, let’s see what happens in next few days.

Edit: just took it for a short drive and it squeaks. Noise gone when clutch is depressed.

Had this truck for 6 years so that’s the first issue, not terrible but at only barely 40k miles it’s way too soon.

if you find a way to snake in there to grease, be sparing with it and use a high moly grease. When the grease dries up the moly will remain and act as a dry lube.

I guess another way to verify your noise would be to sneak in around the fork or something and either spray some graphite spray in there or lithium grease in a can. Neither i've found contaminate the friction material

.... if it could safely be done with the engine rolling it would also throw off any overspray... not saying to do that because it's dangerous and you could burn yourself unless the engine were cold when you started off but, just a thought.

Didn’t have time to lube or adjust anything yet.

I did 2 dump runs yesterday. The first one the trailer GVWR was at 3650#, second was around 3k.

Well what do you know, the squeak went away haha. I’m sure it will come back but I’m not too worried about it for now. I wil have some time this weekend so I’ll lube and adjust free play if needed.

    UPDATE:

Throw out bearing “fixed” itself. Absolutely no noise. For now anyway.

    Thanks taco!
