Got a mismatched / two tone topper and truck? It's the best way!

Took me a little while but found a used Leer 180 mid rise camper shell about 3 hours away. Took it to a local Leonard dealership back home to have them professionally install and seal up the front corners. I love the two-tone look right now. The mobtown bed bars + tonneau cover setup worked great for the last few years but happy to be moving to a topper for more functional space. Thanks to this thread for the helpful info and inspiration!

 

Bump! Going to take off my black wrap on my camper as its been 2 years already. Not sure how long a wrap job can last and dont want to ruin the white paint under!

Spruce Mica w/ Silver Topper. I actually kind of love the combo.

 

I picked up a similar used ARE topper in the same color. Unfortunately my truck is desert sand mica which is kind of close to silver but not that close, more of a copper color so instead of contrasting the truck's color it looked more like a paint job with a very poor color match, it's getting painted.

I really like some of the color contrasts on this thread, esp the matte black painted toppers complementing the truck's color. I'd have gone that route if I didn't live in the desert. I already own a dark colored car and I'm painfully aware of its effects in our climate.

 

I did the dip your car a couple years agom Going to peel it off and go back to the metallic black. Going to paint match the cap to match the truck then. But been driving around with this on for the last winter.

Picked it up for free off of FB marketplace.

 

I just joined the club, I got an incredible deal on a 2022 ARE CX Evolve Custom with flip down/sliding front window and side windoors.

 

i had a silver topper on my old MGM and i was a big fan of the combo

 

Finally found one! Absolutely zero regrets!

 

Just scored this dark grey topper, I do not plan on painting it. I think it looks pretty legit as is!

 

Anyone have a short bed MGM truck with a white topper? Found one locally and might jump on it. Would love to see a pic with one, though I think a white topper can go with most anything.
