New solenoid did the trick, no more check engine light or misfire on the driver side bank

They're nice cars, awful on fuel but otherwise very cushy and reliable cruisers

 

Do the 430s and 460s hold up as well as the 400s? Been really thinking about one as a new daily

 

I'll be doing the brakes on his SC, but probably not until my wife graduates so end of the month

Saw this earlier: Must be one of the most comfortable rides you can get for under 15k

 

The 460 drives nice, and come pretty well equipped

Just sounds weird when you start it up initially; thought it was lifter tick like my older Corvettes lol but apparently it's some self cleaning shit with the direct injection setup

Buddy that owns the LS400 I posted just now, and the 60 series I posted days ago, also has a 460 and I've test driven it a few times

He likes it for long drives, but prefers the LS over anything else

They're like IS300s, super cool cars but you can't find nice ones anymore, they've all been molested

Roommate had one and I'd borrow it whenever we needed groceries and whatnot; he would've rathered stayed to watch basketball on the big TV I bought so I put a lot of miles in that thing

Had a motorcycle at the time so his car was "my car" too lol

What I really want is an RC... I'd love that car, hasn't depreciated hard enough for my cheap ass to buy it yet though

 

The IS300 was basically an entry level Lexus because it's really a pretty low model Toyota in other countries. It's the Altezza everywhere else. Basically a Corolla sized RWD sport sedan. Don't come with much luxo features but have amazing suspension platform and good engines. Mine had an LSD from the factory which was nice

 

Sc300s were bought by old guys who didn't ruin them so there's a handful out there. Not my cup of tea but pretty cheap and you can get the 2j or step up to the sc400 for the 1uz

 

They're not bad cars at all. Same suspension platform as the Mark 4 Supra. Heavy and underpowered no matter which drivetrain you choose without a turbo though
