    Yes yes. There is now a strong urge to spend some money. I definitely was browsing while in some training today..Send me a list and l might accidentally order something.

    My wife wasn't too keen on me "off roading" my new truck. Maybe if I make it even more capable she will approve??? There's sound logic there...right??

    Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
    Absolutely...well, maybe not to a woman.

    You just have to tell her that sliders and skids will help to prevent any damage.

    I mean why spend all that money on the world's most capable out of the box off-road machine and not use it?

    If I did anything, I'd get some A/Ts and sliders. Debating a lift.. hesitant to propose much at this point lol

    Exactly why I signed up for this free clinic the second I saw it lol. Dipped my toes and now I wanna go for a swim..

    A nice suspension lift can really change the character of a 4runner. I’d say it’s better, but it’s just different. Personally, I loved the ride of my stock suspension…it was soooo cushy. I dare say, distinguished. If I was Miss Daisy, I’d want to be driven around in a stock 4runner. Sure, the nose dive was comical, but I still loved it.

    But once I got a decent suspension, it went from 90s Lincoln Town Car to some sort of well sorted european road-SUV feel. The supension motions on wavy back roads felt sublime. So well controlled, but still appropriately jiggly in all the right ways (I know, that sounds weird).

    Off road performance for what I’ve been doing didn’t really change, as all I needed was height and coils to carry the extra weight of bumper, winch and sliders.

    Now I’m running a bit heavier, and tires are bigger, so it’s not quite as sublime as before, but still fantastic.

    So, now that you dipped your toes into the off-road pool…you coming to tigerton? Once you show your wife the damage, she’ll tell *you* to get the suspension. (I’m kidding, you wont get damaged unless you want to. ). :p

    My wife's Jeep already has full guards.
    Telling her "Yours already has them".
    Validated the purchase of my skids.
    :thumbsup::rofl:

    I stumbled upon a different approach and dove in head first.

    Edit: or maybe I was pushed off the dock?

    Another component for my modular flatbed. Side rails. Wife liked it better. Not the look I want but there are going to be times when these are needed
