So funny enough I about bought another one for 2k last year but the dude sold it when I was driving out to see it.... I know the Drz is a dated turd but I do like the dumb dinosaur haha

 

Something about a dumb dinosaur is nice. My lil Xt225, I have all 3 necessary tools ON THE BIKE to strip the entire bike enough to pull the full carb and disassemble the carb for cleaning if needed.

ya now the drz is easy to loosen the carb but getting it out wellll.its kinda a pain it's doable but a big pain haha

Planning an off-road ride this Saturday with my Brother and nephew. Loading up the Klx and going across the ferry and going to Foothills orv park. I have never been there but should be a good time. The weather is supposed to be in the upper 70’s low 80’s

Spray painting plastics for a dirt bike is far less trashy than that. You must not have ever spent any time at a track if you think that's something to worry about.

 

I don't worry about what anyone thinks about my bike. I just worry about making sure it's safe and I like it. Anybody else's opinion on it doesn't really matter.

What are they riding? Share pics for sure. We still have snow melting and its been raining non-stop. Planning on going may long weekend in 2 weeks rain or shine.

I dont mind mud, but I prefer to avoid it now that I have a 50/50 tire.

 

That's more of the opinion I was attempting to get across, who cares? Spray paint on a beat up old dirt bike? I don't think anyone would even notice much less care

 

My buddy bought an old red KLR650, and its awful, I've been pressuring him to paint it green or black, anything but red. I dont care for red on any vehicle, let alone a bike that should be greeeeen.

 

Red is better for safety, IMO. People see it. A black bike is invisible.

Kawi green stands out pretty well, though.

 

It's faded 2004 red to be fair, and kawi green is awesome. After adopting the seahawks many many years ago I've always loved bright greens haha.

The Honda Transalp coming to North America in only black is an insult. Cruisers can have black. The rest of us want at least a choice of colour.

 

1. I like anime and always have and the bike is named after the character that's why..

2. Spray painted plastics to me is trashy it looks unfinished or stolen so no I won't spray paint them.

3. Yes I've been around tracks and everyone I know that use to race just bought new plastics.. nobody ran like that around here

4. When did my bike become trashy? It's old but it isn't trashy... Or beat up.. it has a couple scars from a couple crashes but it's hard to tell unless pointed out..

5. I like my stuff to look nice not for others for my self..

Yeah, it's a weird Honda thing. They only do one color on lots of bikes to the US. CB500X usually has 3 colorways, but the US only ever gets one of them.

 

I love your bike. I'm sure I'd crash on something like it, but it's so damn photogenic! I'm just an equal opportunity offender. I offend everyone equally.

 

If I do get a honda I really want a tri-colour, likely going to go 300 rally at this rate.
