Morning everyone :hattip:another doc appointment today. Had a seizure last Friday, trying to figure out why. It was a minor one, but shouldn’t be having them with the medication. Six more months of no driving :bananadance::annoyed::bananadance:

    :hattip:Good morning

Coffee is brewed. Breakfast is eggs, bacon, toast. I hope you all have a good day.

Good grief, frustrating beyond measure. Hang in there Tom, I sincerely hope things get better soon.

My experience with knock sensors is documented in the gen 1 thread here on TW….my advice, go OEM only. In the case of a gen 1, even the ones online that said Denso or claimed to be had a small difference than the ones bought through Toyota (a small hole in the threaded end is present on the Toyota ones but on none of the others). I used an aftermarket the first time I replaced them:tinfoilhat:….second time, a year later, I smartened up :spending:

    Shit.

Thanks for your concern folks, I feel great, the meds work for the most part. Things good be worse, so I feel fortunate.
I have been known to drive the T4R, just to make sure it’s running good and charge the battery.:D:thumbsup:

Just like everything else. In another thread here we were discussing the price for a 2024 Taco. I took a look at one online, just for shits and giggles, and estimated it's up about 20% from the one I bought in November of 2020. But that's just about where everything is today. In the last 3 1/2 just about everything is up 20% or more.

Those prices will come in line once the lot is full, the Chevy dealer is offering huge discount, lot is over full.

I checked the dealer where I bought mine. Close to 1/2 were pending sale and they were the more expensive ones. My thoughts? Those who want the higher end Tacos, that is those who can afford it, will buy. The ones that may suffer are those who have bought the lower end trucks in the past because the lower end price is crazy high. But I imagine most pick ups are out of sight.

I remember when I bought a new '90s Z71 extended cab and they had gone up to 25k. I thought that was ludicrous. In 2006 I bought a Nissan Titan for 24k and thought it was a good deal. The manufacturers of vehicles (including RVs) have priced themselves out of the market and it's reflected in current sales of the higher priced versions. People are buying the cheaper smaller Santa Cruz's and Maverick's. Toyota launched a sub 20k no bed truck. If a manufacturer launched a full or mid size truck under 30k with less electronic bullshit; people would buy it.
