They're getting new inventory every day, and steadily going out. My dealer actually puts out a good amount of volume. It's in a more populated area in Maryland that people from around the Metro area actually use as they're not as shady as the inner city dealers.

 

Plenty of videos for you to check out, guessing you’re near Hagerstown MD- do some digging around, Toyota is having big problems moving inventory- very unusual especially with a brand new model out.

I honestly try not to pay attention to all that stuff. They had the truck I wanted and at the price I was OK with. I'm satisfied

Priced me out, I can afford it, but NOT worth it IMO. Simply ridiculous for a mass produced utilitarian vehicle. A hotdog can cost $2.00 outside a stadium or $10.00 inside, but is still a hotdog.

Future son in law has a buddy who is a salesman at our local Toyota dealer.
Says he is really worried and has been downsizing his expenses.
The prices/features compared to what other manufacturers have are killing sales left and right.

You can get a Jeep gladiator with a V6 fully decked out Rubicon for $43,000 right now before TTL. It absolutely blows the doors off a Tacoma. If i was shopping new I’d have a frontier or gladiator way before one of these 4th gen’s, not even close .

I think you have a valid point here. I think I posted this in a different thread but the gladiator would fit my use case perfectly. I love the interior and it’s an incredibly utilitarian vehicle. Plus, like you said, the 2023’s are cheap AF right now (as the kids say).

The only reason i wouldn’t consider one is because of my experience as a Ram owner and all the other horror stories from other Jeep/Ram owners. My Ram became so unreliable at 60K miles it was a safety issue and I have friends who have had similar experiences with Ram/Dodge/Stellantis/Jeep/ whoever-they-are-now products. Obviously this doesn’t apply to older model jeeps and rams.

It was just such a bad product that I can’t bring myself to trust another one of their vehicles.
