No problem I'm way too high and I don't want the Gobement to tag me for more money since I have a better credit score than the other guy. It's a real thing these days.

 

Liked only because it's true, American credit system is bass ackwards. If you aren't heavily leveraged, banks won't hardly touch you. They want to see you stretched thin, and for years and years. We paid one of my wife's student loans off right before we re-fi'd and it hurt our rate.

Sounds like a pretty good opportunity Creed. Also sounds like they are wanting you pretty bad.

 

Are you suggesting that we become ungovernable? But seriously, I don't believe that credit score plays any part in how much taxes you owe currently.

I used to pay my credit cards off before the monthly statements were posted. I stopped doin’ that I my score improved. Who ever thought it pays to owe money.

 

We're 3 years into a refinanced 15 year mortgage at 2 point something percent and paying some extra each month.

With the kid as co-signer on his car with my wife and now that he's using a credit card to buy everything instead of his debit card (it's on auto pay so no getting hit with that nasty credit card interest), he's in the upper 700's for his credit rating. I don't know about you guys but at 20, I was nowhere near that!

 

I was married & a home owner when I was 20.

edit: Not really a home owner, the bank was just letting me stay there*.

I never looked at my rating at that age, prob wasnt very high. It took forever to get a couple cards and then a few big items took forever to pay off. I didnt have any co-signers so i basically learned as i went

 

We've been in our house 32 years.
Paid it off in '13 and bought 2 new Hondas the very next month.

In all fairness, our kid turned 16 a month after we paid off our house so we gave him my wife's '06 Accord, bought her a new '13 Accord and (since I didnt want to feel left out ) I got a Honda too.

No the Gubement has instuted a new system that if you have a bad credit rating and I have a better credit rating I have to pay a fee for having a better credit rating than you to help you out. And I pay more to help you out

When I bought my house you had to have 20% down.

 

Can confirm the loser pro golfers also still make millions. You have to pay taxes in all states in which you cash checks, you live on the road, but it can be very lucrative.

Can also confirm there are plenty of scholarships out there to small schools to play golf if that's what you're into.
