Timely. I bought some more Yeti shorts. About 1/3 price of new Yeti shorts. And some cheap POC socks. For some reason, all i have are orphaned socks these days. I'm not sure what wormhole the matching socks are slipping through...

Anyone have a Sid rear shock? My Spur came with a Sid Luxe Select+ in the rear and i keep finding oil or grease or something on the o-ring. I have maybe 100 miles on it, haven't done any bigger jumps or features I would do on my patrol, maybe some drops that were a couple feet high? Nothing I would think would break or damage it and definitely nothing bigger than those XCO courses have in them now.

I'm thinking of doing the 50 hour service when I add one of those bottomless tokens. Hopefully that would stop any problems. It was an older model on the floor so has probably been sitting around for awhile and gone on many test rides. A little annoying to have to work on a "new" bike but I guess thats part of buying someone thats discounted because its older?

Pretty sure I remember that being a thing with those Sids.

I don't have a Sid but I do have a Rock Shox Super Deluxe Ultimate that came with my Evil Offering. I immediately replaced it with a Push coil and it sat in a parts bin for about 1.5 years. This winter I put the Rock shox back on while my Push coil was being serviced and went for a few rides and it leaked some oil just as you're describing.

TL;DR It may just need a service if it's been sitting for a while.

Spur owner here. Mine did the same for months after getting the bike. Never seemed to affect the performance. Eventually it stopped and I wondered if it should then be serviced, but the service kits both 50 and 200 hrs were both unobtanium in 2021. Bike and shock still going strong today. You won't hurt it by getting it serviced. You probably also won't hurt it by letting it go until when you'd normally service a rear shock.

It didn't seem right to service the fork but not service the shock so did it over my lunch break yesterday. Yeti SB115 (and SB100) requires more disassembly than other bikes to remove the shock. I did not use the Fox Float pillow pack (primarily because the seal kit doesn't come with it anymore). I just used some Maxima Plush I had laying around. Since it's just for lube for the seals, it really didn't matter. The stock oil was dirty so it was definitely time.

    Ebike hate, swapping seatpost.

I now wish AXS reverb had a longer option and I could just slam a 200 and call it a day, but dealing with fraying cables and the OneUp V3 210. I think I broke the cable due to it being extremely tight between the motor and battery:( now I’ve gotta drop the motor again.
