    As far as why they all tend to look similar across all brands, I don't know. I suppose it's a durable and relatively inexpensive design that still allows all six wheels to be the identical.

    I'm no expert, but it is my understanding that the factory front and rear wheels on most duallys are the same. The wheel you see on the front is the same as the wheel you see on the rear, just flipped around. The rear wheels are just two of the front ones face to face if you will. The reason the front wheel face sticks out so much is so that when it's fitted on the rear axle, the two rear wheels can be mounted together without the tires touching.
