I built my own leaf packs using the original taco main and cutting up individual leaves from a chevy 2500. It gave probably 2-3" lift over stock, but with 1500 leaves youd certainly gain capacity and not as much lift as i did. I used kyb monomax shocks for a t100 bc theyve got more length by about 2" than tacos

Are these for a lift or? They say that they give about 2.25" of lift? However, they are not advertised as a part of a lift kit. Will the lift even matter with the weight I am putting in my vehicle?

2.5" lift, JBA UCA, OME rear leafs, 33s...
I don't know what size but I ordered from a 3rd party website, which could be why they were included

Those are the same springs you posted from the ARB site. None of the OME springs are marketed as "for lift", they are intended to improve performance and weight carrying capability. The side effects of increased weight carrying capability is increased ride height when unloaded. From what I have seen on various retailers sites is that the Dakars no longer include any bushings and the U bolts offered appear to be either OMEU53A or U53B. Some sources offer their own comparable u bolt. An email to Wheelers should give you all the info necessary.

O" over stock with your camper installed, how does it sit with it removed?

Makes sense, this site just offers them with an extra leaf. However, no where can I find anything that says how much weight carrying capability these springs will have.

I've noticed that too. For the newer gen Tacomas OME says the leafs are designed for vehicles carrying an extra 330lbs at all times. The extra leaf could be used for heavier loads.

I don't see those specifics for the 1st gen leafs, but the extra leaf is said to be for vehicles carrying any extra 220lb constant load.

Don't know, I've not taken it off and I installed the springs post camper install.

To bad you didn't want to lift the rear a little. I have a set of one week old Alcan's with 3 inches of lift and 750 pounds extra weight capacity. I grossly under estimated my trucks weight and now I need to order another set of Alcan's.

How would it sit with the 650-700lbs the OP anticipates having? Did they make them to sit 3" higher than stock WITH that load?

The rear would sit 3 inches higher than stock with that much load.

Haha, wow, I can only imagine what it must be like without a load.

With nine leafs, they would still ride decent.
I am ordering another set with 1300 pounds added weight.
