Truck driver b.s.

It's FRIYAY!!! But I have to work tomorrow so all it means is the end is near.
Well my p.o.s. 18 year old truck has an axle leak. So I get to temporarily drive the truck that I'm supposed to get when the new trucks come in. It's got its problems too, I'll be in a rental more than the truck. But it rides nice, it's quiet, has a real air horn, lol.
At least it's newer and safer than the truck that tried to kill me.

 

4 hours today and I'm done till Monday.

 

Monday, new week, 5 days this week.
Gonna see what Im doing for a truck today, mine has an axle leak and has to go in for repair. Probably be in a rental.

Good morning Greg, new phone showed up dry yesterday. Doing the broc. because taters and onions are popping in the garden. Back still on hold till new MRI and shot then if all gois well off the find a new company to work for.
Y'all have a dry day.

 

Yeah I can relate to the back thing, doing better but I have my days still. Trying to avoid any heavy lifting as much as possible. Sitting and driving I'm good, standing and walking is still not good.

Just spent 3 hours broke down with another blown airbag. 3rd time on this trailer this year. Stil need a mud flap, landing gear shoe, and drive axle is still leaking. Quality equipment and repairs.

Good morning driver's be super careful today with all the bad weather out today.

 

Yeah we're supposed to get some rain later today. Cooler today. We'll I got the airbag fixed yesterday and the mud flap this morning. New trucks are supposed to be picked up tomorrow. That means I'll be in the cat truck and newer trailer soon. Both better than what I have now. Cat is in the shop all the time, but it's safer.

 

Well I got a brand new mudflap with the company name on it and everything, top of the line I tell ya! So go make a couple of pick ups and deliveries. Backing into a dock on my campus, can't get over the hump, lock the axles in, same deal, it's lifting both drive axles of the ground. Now keep in mind I pull a 4 axle spread trailer. So I make a run at it and finally get it over the hump and down the ramp of the dock. Get out to chock my tires, suspension on the trailer is completely collapsed, and all four of my mud flaps are on the ground, pulled the angle iron right off.
So 3 blown air bags in a few months, ripped off mud flaps twice, and now the air bags are over inflated and I won't get near them. Don't ya think we should be replacing some valves? Duh! And at least I can drop the tractor at the same time so they can repair the axle leak while the are fixing the trailer.
I might be driving a Hilo the rest of the day.
