Hello again everyone...

We spent the winter here in our TT last year, which was very cold and wet, then drove to Phoenix in May to spend the summer, which was very hot and dry, then went on a trip to the east coast to check out some areas for potential relocation and then arrived back here last week with a wife that's nearly 7 months pregnant with our first child!

We're looking at renting a home to get us through pregnancy so either a 6 or 12 month lease, furnished or not. We're checking the usual channels but thought I'd ask in here...

We've unintentionally been in our TT for 2 years (less 5 moths in Phoenix where we had a house) and we definitely don't want to bring our little girl up as a pikey so we need to find a house asap

Appreciate any leads... and or a meet up with fellow Tacomaworld peeps!

I have a place just outside Redmond that may be becoming available soon (in Jan). Have one potential renter, but nothing solid and can reach out if it falls through. 4 bed, 3 bath, 2500 Sq ft on over an acre with fenced yard, garage and more. Can do furnished or not. Would have to talk options (utilities, yard work, etc), but we are currently renting it out for $3k/month with utilities included. Would be flexible.

I just moved up here and started a new job a few weeks ago - but my beloved Tacoma won't be up here until the summer. I'm looking to pick up a less expensive (preferably Toyota) to drive here in the mean time. The selection in Central OR is pretty minimal on Craigslist and FB Marketplace - does anyone have suggestions on other places to look for options?

How are you liking it so far? Thinking about buying a place in OR outside of the city.

 

We have a newborn in the house and I was on night duty so late wake up this morning and now watching F1, will try again next month. Weather doesn't seem too bad, might even be able to get out on the bike

 

I know Bend has blown up in population recently so I apologize but…. i just got offered a job in Bend. (I applied for the job not to move to Bend) Would be moving from New Mexico.

Besides Zillow, any places to look for rentals?

Would love to learn more about the area if you’ve got the time to share your thoughts.

welcome, I’m new here too. Expect to pay like $3k for a house and get treated like crap by property management staff. I’m in my 40’s and rented my whole life and have never known staff to be so unprofessional, it’s crazy! Have been in contact with multiple companies and they’re all awful, honestly check the reviews of the management companies there are some that are better than others, but not by much…
