Guy in the video says all the dealers.

    In order:
    Ken Garff in Cheyenne, WY
    Petersen in Ft. Collins, CO
    Stapp in Frederick, CO
    McDonald in Greeley, CO

These are north of metro Denver by about an hour or so.

My point is that Toyota in general is making very good decisions. While you may not agree the numbers say otherwise. Operating profit is up 90% this year compared to 2023.

I never said Toyota as a whole, wasn’t making good decisions. They may have overplayed their hand on the new Tacoma though.

Their stock is WAY up. I bought a block of shares at $158 late last year. I thought I was late to the party.

Carvana is up 1500% since late last year , not sure if this is the best gauge

So is your assumption that this is an epic fail by Toyota? Are you predicting they will lose the midsize sales title? Are you predicting a sales collapse? Will this continue for the foreseeable future?

Did people forget what dealerships looked like before Covid? In 2019 I could walk into a lot and pick about whatever color and trim I wanted.

OP need to turn off the YouTube “content creators” who use clickbait titles to generate views.

After a few months on sale I dunno what his expectations are. Should lots be empty of them?

I finally got to drive one! A $57,000 TRD OR! I loved it, it’s in my driveway! Not.

Not a fan of WCP, or the $4,000 in PIO Gulf distributors add. Found a TRD OR Premium out east with only wheel locks for $50,000 after discounts. That one looks more appetizing.
I did enjoy the power, it was an automatic so that’s different, but if I opt for a LB then I’ll be shoved into that anyways. The portable speaker was indeed portable since it was missing from the truck. Probably removed to decrease theft.

Yes they should for a brand new model from excitement and hype alone- read the room around this release, bet you can’t find massive complaints about 3rd gen pricing at release. This is a big issue for Toyota, i can guarantee you they’re not loving the early movement.

So no vehicles on the lots is how to move vehicles? No inventory?

If you want to just forget about the middle ground of that, sure. As we see, if people were buying them you wouldn’t find 10+ of them in a lot of areas. You live in NJ, looking for one? Head to Easton PA an hour and a half away and you’ll find 10+ on the lot

some dealers, depending on areas will get more trucks than others. If we’re talking in the middle of a highly populated area maybe they’re taking more RAV4s etc. i can’t speak for every single area but if these trucks were hot you wouldn’t find 20+ videos with people pissed off at pricing, thousands and thousands of huge Tacoma fans turned off by the pricing. Sure they will still sell a shit load, but I’ve never seen 10+ 3rd gen’s on a lot 3 months post release, sitting and not selling.
