    Hey all,

First post as I am a recent Tacoma owner (bought it with my first job :))

Unfortunately, the price of the SR fit my bill a little too well and now almost 2 years later my wife and I are looking into kiddos and I'm scrambling, hoping to find some rear seats from a 3rd gen to replace my SR factory seat delete.

I expected to find more salvaged gen 3s due to how common they are but none of the scrappers around me in middle GA seem to have any in stock.

Any advice on best practice to source the seat assembly? (Seats, belts, buckles)

    Thanks,
    Isaac

You’re going to spend a few grand sourcing all the necessary parts because they do a pretty thorough job of making it uninhabitable back there by removing the seats and seatbelts.

My advice is to sell and buy a vehicle intended for the transport of children

    This!
Heck a 4 door isn't hardly ideal. An access cab is no good.

    GL with the family plans!

A few here have found people willing to swap out their Utility package parts for those with jump seats so might try posting in the 3rd gen marketplace.
Not sure how suitable the jump seats are for child carriers though might want to ask.

OP doesn't have enough posts to post in marketplace.

Bolt a used couch to the front of the bed and visit your consignment store to buy some 70’s big collared shirts.

Oh man, that takes me back…

OP - if you’re looking to swap the utility package interior for the rear seats, just keep an eye on the Buy/Sell/Trade section. Wish I could help you out on the trade, but I’m up around Pittsburgh.
