Sorry about the job; I hope you land a good one soon.

Wow on the MPG. I generally get the mileage the truck is rated at. This is my last tank just before filling up (303 miles on the tank; still above 1/4). It is mostly highway miles (with a couple side trips) and some traffic, over 2 passes 2 times (Loveland/tunnel and Vail) round trip from/to Eagle/SE Denver. What made this better than the week before was that I removed the sandbags. I'm mostly stock and have a tonneau cover. I think the sweet spot is to keep the tach in the 1800-2200 range where the Atkinson cycle operates. I've also learned that if I climb hills at ~65 the truck doesn't do the gear hunting/revving.

Actually, the farm was just far enough away that it was kind of fun to hear it. And the guy would hold tours for kids/adults.

But that farm is now new-build neighborhood housing, as will happen in expanding cities.

I would think. I never met him, though. I hope he got a very large payment for his land and not an "imminent domain" deal.

Exhaust reroute, cargo mat, WeatherTech side window deflectors, glove box and center console organizer. RCI steel skid plates (engine, transmission, transfer-case, catalytic guards, fuel tank and differential), Total Chaos Bed Stiffeners, RCI rocksliders, Power Tray and Switch Pro, Taco Vinyl Pro Grill, Diode Dynamics SS3 amber fog lights. Front Runner load bars, Powerbrake D-Line Disc & Pad kit, Fox 2 inch lift kit with 2.5 coil-over, Taruca Rogue 270 degree XC awning, Four Wheel Campers Project M, CBI Baja Front Bumper, Warn VR EVO 10S winch, Baja Design OnX6+ 20 inch LED Light Bar, WeBoost
Swapped out the front brakes and rotors for the Powerbrake D-Line Disc & Pad kit. With all the added weight on my truck I've noticed that my stopping distance has increased. Initial feelings about the swap, I do notice the stopping distance has decreased.

No pics as anything you would want to take a pic of is behind the tire.

I did some more research on the recall for the '22s and '23s. The official statement had me confused and concerned. However, this repair guide helps me understand the real issue and what they will do so I don't think it's going to be a problem after I get it checked out: RCRIT-24V152-2133.pdf (nhtsa.gov)

Is that a step bolted to your passenger side slider?

I had these until a hit and run and thought they were super neat, kinda art-deco vibe, they’re plenty bright in the sun

I have trail rash on my fender flares also. I use a scratch remover on the paint and don’t worry about the fender flares…IMHO I think it adds character and is a good conversation piece.
