What are you doing for a tank and pump?

 

This has moved up the priority list for me. Would like to be able to go more than 200 miles on a tank of gas.

 

I will have the 25 gallon tank ran as an auxiliary tank. You can transfer fuel on the fly.

We are now offering a rear fuel cell cradle for the 05 and up Tacoma. You have the option of running our kit as a rear mounted gas tank cradle for either a 25 or 31 gallon fuel cell. The kit can be set up as an auxiliary fuel tank or you can run it as a standalone. You also have the option of running the kit as an "under the bed" storage box for batteries, tools, spare parts etc.

The kit consists of a complete rear frame box kit that is laser cut out of 1/8" steel. The weld in frame box kit was designed so that 4 new 3/16" cross members can be bolted in place. Once the cross members are bolted to the frame box kit the 1/8" aluminum cradle can be bolted up to the cross members.

The kit includes everything as described in the PDF document below as well as all the necessary hardware. If you decided to use the kit as an auxiliary fuel tank we recommend purchasing the parts below. Utilizing the kit as an auxilliary tank will allow you to have up to 52 gallons of gas on board! When setup as a transfer tank with an electric fuel pump you will be able seamlessly transfer fuel on the fly with the flip of a switch. No more need to carry clunky jerry cans and even better is you dont even

Exactly why i chose to do add this. I have 2 Jerry cans but that turns into a mess. I love the fact you can transfer fuel on the fly. This adds more than double fuel capacity.

 

I ended up going with a custom setup but love having 500+mile range!

That looks great nice work. Is 44gals full capacity? I will have 46gal capacity with the stock tank.

74Weld Steering rack, Howe and then headers and supercharger this years list.

 

Is that steering rack out on the market Yet?

I want something like this but without having to remove the bed. I got too much shit in there to remove it.

 

Sounds like we have the same list. Except for the headers. Supercharger will be going in after JD is done with it. Steering rack to follow as soon as its available.

 

If either of your go supercharged… I’d give some good beer money for the CARB EO sticker / even to borrow it for a short week and make a few replicas if it comes to that… I’m stuck in the water with mine and smog (no sticker)

“Currently in development. Expect info soon once we have prototypes and a production release a will follow. Still several months out. Developing proper hydraulic seal heads to handle lots more pressure and power right now”

 

They couldn’t help me since mine is a ‘TRD’ :/

 

Toyota may have a part number for it. I remember people getting them through Toyota for the TRD sc for 1st gens.

 

I have the Pn, but unfortunately it’s no longer something that is available through eBay sellers, TRD, Toyota Corporate, SCOL, I just had my local dealer check with Toyota MDC and it was hopefully, and theoretically possible, they just simply had no more inventory and were not going to obviously get more as it was discontinued so long ago.

I got a few options though. A member or two on here have them, just need to figure out if they can part with it or I’ll try and replicate it

 

Yeah once you can get a scan of one just save it as a pdf and buy a $20 8x10 laminator and laminate one to stick to your firewall.
