Received my stump bumper from them in about 2-3 weeks after ordering Closer to 2.
About a week later I received my duty fee from fed ex, $68.36.

like the bumpers looks. It is not on yet, maybe in a few days I’ll get to it. Should've gotten it powder coated from what I hear. IMG_1072.jpgHere you can see fumes drying:IMG_1122.jpg

I got their sliders earlier this week, still waiting for the duty bill.
Their powder coat is really good.
I'm very happy with their products, if I didn't already have bumpers and skids I would have ordered those from them as well.

I have had my eye on the sliders for a while. Really I should go for the “steps” version but prefer the looks of the angled.

I got their sliders angled with kickout the other day. I was impressed with the free shipping, showed up in 4 days. They suit my needs. 20240424_141245.jpg

While the powder coat does look good, I’ve never had good luck with powder coated steel items in scratch prone areas, especially where I live in New England.

I prefer a good primer and paint job combined with an annual inspection and touch up.

Its aluminum. The never ending fight with rust with my welded on steel sliders I had on my zr2 drove me insane.

I’ve now gone to aluminum as well. I was tired of chasing rust spots on my old 2nd Gen’s armor.

I just wasn’t sure what the OP’s bumper was made out of and he seemed a bit bummed about not selecting the powder coating.

Just letting him know, in some cases DIY repairable paint has advantages over powder.

Yea he shouldn't leave it completely uncoated or oxidation will be gross to look at. I like steel it as long as the surface prep is done right.

Bumper is aluminum. I have had crappy past experiences with powder coating.

I do like that bumper alot. If I ever come up with a legit reason for needing one it's the route I'll go. Also ordered greenlane bed stiffeners.

I have the same Greenlane product. 2 years mounted, and they still look great. Only a bit of powder coat has been blasted off on the bottom by road spray/debris, closest to the rear wheels.

Just got my duty bill today, $68.
So the total for my sliders was $1089 shipped to my door, which I think is a really good deal compared to other big manufactures in the USA. Caliraised is $1300 on sale shipped to my door.

Pulled the hidden winch tray, replaced it with the Greenland stump bumper. Initially I had intentions to get the winch in there, which would’ve happened. I do have to mess with a ground wire for that. However, I am only going to cut more off my bumper and use one single piece of welting across the the whole thing. I think. So I decided to just do a test fit and get the bumper right first. IMG_1138.jpg IMG_1139.jpg I like the slope of it, cuts down on the underbite.

The welds are so nice on them! I didn’t want to get my winch mount powder coated and cover up the welds.

My flippy plate needs some attention as well. Doesn’t look right all half rusty. I may or may not use that thing…. Need to find an alternative.

I love their sliders. These are the 12.5 degree angle with the fill plates, and kickout. The attention to detail is pretty impressive, and the install was easy.

I have the Stump Bumper on my wish list. I think it's cool that you can add the wings later, if you want.

I know this is the 3rd Gen section and there is no way your eyes should ever have to look at the 2nd Gen haha but this is what I did, I’ve just been using the 2 top original license plate holes in the bottom of my plate. Been through a few winters, car washes. Do you still have any original holes left over for plate mounting?

Looks good. I’m thinking my license plate will move the bumper somewhere. I don’t have any previous holes, but I’ll figure something out. For now it will just take a break and live on the side.
