    I feel attacked.

but also I have a lot of pain of my own making in having too many projects that have ended up back to back due to my extremely low eye queue :pout:

I sold a project yesterday, got some cash. Probably going to buy a new daily with the money from that, Corolla is getting tired and oddly enough I have someone lined up that really wants it.

I have almost all the parts for the chevy 63 swap and front 3.5 kit ready to go, going to buy the rest (hopefully) for the holiday sale at the end of the month... which hopefully is enough time to have the Race truck drive able enough to go to storage unit or a friends garage.

I haven't even put the RTT on the Taco in a year :jpow:

somewhat related... I am going to 3D print some parts to verify the Flipped LBJ kit I've designed, I think that would be good peace of mind for us 1'st gen owners who like to party

You'll enjoy the 63s, the swap process is a chore if you're gonna french em but still a good low buck swap with a ton of value. Which 3.5 kit are you going with? My goal was always 35s, turbo, and long travel... but I have to admit after dialing the front coilovers and with a rear so flexy now that I don't find myself really wanting the LT that much. Like I'm sure it'd be a large improvement in flex but my main concern is long haul comfort for multi day trips on dirt and rocks and it is already meeting that goal handily.

well as you may or may not know, I have a habit of choosing the most labor intensive and unique option.....

I don't have any on my phone, but I feel like I've posted a screenshot before?

I'll @ you or DM some pics this weekend if I remember...

if I actually get my @$$ in gear this summer maybe kwik will be selling my design as WIY kits and paying me smol royalty

I don't think the 1st gen suspension design could weather the leverage of a portal anyway. Be easier to swap a 1st gen body on a second gen frame and run the 74 weld portals

Just buy a different truck, the second gens aren't bad and it saves a lot of work if you start with the whole platform rather than just pieces.

Only if that's what you wanted; I actually have several plans for skids and other misc items that I just keep to myself because other members made them. They belong to them the way I see it.

But if you yourself needed a test piece cut out and you're too busy to work your own table let me know.

no no, I think I'd do all the prototyping and testing but would not have time to run "production" myself, plus I figure most of the buyers would be in CA anyways

That part I bet is true; even though I ship all over the majority of all my sales are in CA

39.06% of my shipments went there according to Pirate Ship

New guy at work sends me a zoom meeting request for 915am, what kind of sociopathic behavior is that.

He's got a lot to learn this one

Although I will say I'm all for this new era of online meetings ever since 2020, feels like we almost never do them in person anymore.
