Why does my 1998 pre runner Tacoma chirp while I try to slide in mud or slide at all?

I don’t think so. How could I check

 

Usually has a indicator light in your dash
Or like gearing on the axel

Yea that’s odd. And you’re not sliding? How long have you had this truck and it chirps in mud?

 

Thanks for the actual convo, ppl on here troll when I’m genuinely wondering. And I’ve had it s month almost 2

 

If it chirps on pavement only it could have a torsion/helical differential. I don’t think you would feel or heard that in mud.

 

It’s not a sound when I say chirp it’s more of the tires hop and lock up while I do it. Read some more on google and some things are saying it’s brake system. Not sure if that’s related to my issue but I’m going to check it out
